Out and about with Claude Moraes MEP

Claude Moraes is a British Member of European Parliament. Claude represents London and takes a particular interest in East London as he lives in the area.

Today, Claude came to Leyton to assist the Grove Green action team with a street survey they were conducting.

Just after graduating in 2001, I shadowed Claude at the European Parliment in Brussels, attending meetings of its Employment and Social Affairs Committee and assisting with casework.

There is a lot going on in the European Parliament so it is a shame that its work is so frequently misreported (or more often not reported at all!) in the British press.
