The Best 30th Birthday in the Whole Wide World
June 28th, 2008
I have just got home from four amazing, emotional, uplifting, seriously bootie shaking hours of this.
I couldn’t have wished for a better way to celebrate my 30th birthday (and Mr Mandela’s 90th) than to be shaking my thang to some top notch musical acts in my most favourite park in the whole wide world.
Personal highlights for me were Jamelia, Vusi Mahlasela, Eddy Grant and Q-U-E-E-N!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did I say Q-U-E-E-N?! They were amazing!!!!!!!
Happy 90th Birthday, Mr M.
I am really chuffed I was there to celebrate with you

Thanks, Kush. I really appreciate your support. It’s been a difficult 18 months but I finally feel as if I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I will always work for Leyton. I feel blessed to have been born here and no one’s ever going to take me away from my community – it doesn’t matter what they try. Take care and thanks again for your lovely message. Miranda. xxx
