I had a great time at this year’s Legal Voice annual conference, which took place on the 1st of March, speaking on a panel with Jeremy Hopkins,Client Relationship Manager at Obelisk Support.

Jeremy and I led a workshop entitled ‘Social Media – what’s the point?’ We spoke about the benefits for businesses and charities (in my case, Hackney Community Law Centre) of using social media.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to talk to sister charities about HCLC’s social media work. There is no doubt that our active engagement online over the past few years has led to the development of a number of excellent partnerships, awards and funding opportunities.

In my presentation, I set out some examples of the concrete benefits that social media has brought to HCLC. You can take a look at them HERE and watch the full video recording of mine and Jeremy’s workshop HERE.

I am very grateful to London Legal Support Trust’s wonderful Chief Executive Natalia Rymaszewska (with me below) for inviting me along to speak.Natalia and Miranda
